Welcome to Concordia Academy Camps, BEAMS Athletics, and Beacon Buddies!

 

 

Every summer, hundreds of students in elementary, middle, and high schools from throughout the Twin Cities area attend Concordia Academy Camps, learning to use their talents to shine while they strengthen skills, build relationships, gain knowledge, and make new friends. Registration for 2024 athletics, arts, STEM, and other camps is now open.

CA's special programming goes well beyond dozens of summer camps; we also have school-year elementary and junior high athletic programming. Our BEAMS Athletics program offers school-year sports opportunities for students in Grades 5-8, and our Beacon Buddies program offers Saturday sports camps during the school year for students in Grades 1-4. These popular programs are open to students from any Twin Cities school.

BEAMS Athletics (Grades 5-8)

BEAMS stands for "Beacon Elementary And Middle School," and the BEAMS Athletics program is designed to offer these students opportunities for athletic growth and competition that will complement…not replace…the sports offerings at their current schools. Football and Dance are offered in the fall, Boys and Girls Basketball are winter offerings, and Track & Field is offered in the spring.

We believe that discipline, teamwork, commitment, victory, and even defeat can provide rich opportunities to cultivate strong character in athletes. Our coaches are committed to this cultivation of character. This commitment is equaled only by the commitment to fully develop the athletic talents of each of our athletes. We believe that excellence in athletics honors God and blesses athletes.

Registration for Girls Basketball and Boys Basketball is open. Registration for BEAMS Track & Field will open this winter.

Beacon Buddies (Grades 1-4)

Beacon Buddies offers Saturday morning athletic camps for our youngest future Beacons in 1st-4th grade. Opportunities in 2024-2025 include fall soccer and winter basketball. Both programs are open to boys and girls. Beacon Buddies is led by CA coaches, alumni, and our own student-athletes. These Christian coaches and mentors help participants develop athletic interest, improve fundamental athletic skills, make friends, and build community.

Fall Dance Clinic

Get a glimpse into the world of the Concordia Academy dance team, learning alongside CA Dance Team (CADT) members. This clinic, meeting on Mondays and Thursdays, will focus on the techniques and skills of both pom and jazz dance.

Summer Camps

In 2024, we offered dozens of fine arts, STEM, and athletics summer camps, including old favorites like Boys and Girls Basketball, CSI, G3 (Genuinely Great Girls), Dance, Camp Create, Playmakers (with two full-day theater camp options), and Youth Worship Team. But we also had exciting new camps, including Adventures In Prose (a creative writing camp), Beacon Archery, and Young Scientists (for Grades 2-4). Summer camp information for 2025 will be available in January.
